CompuLink Autostart Procedure

There are the procedures that TRRP will use at all of our Bracket and Index Races. If track rentals request different settings, The promotor will need to announce that in the Track Rental Event thread in the event rules.

Staged Minimum - 0.6 seconds
Staged to Start - 1.0 - 1.3 Seconds
Time Out - 10 seconds
Deep Staging will result in a Red Light

Definitions

Stage Minimum is the amount of time tire breaks the beam to begin AutoStart.

Stage to Start is the amount of time both cars are staged to begin AutoStart countdown.

Time Out is when one car is pre-staged and staged, and the other car is only pre-staged, this is the amount of time left before tree activates.

Red Lighting while running Autostart can not be disputed.

Dial for Dollars

Closest to the Dial wins Dial for Dollars. In the event that we have a tie in the Dials, we will go to best reaction time. In the event of another tie, we will look at mph. In the event of another tie, we will give to win to the driver that ran it first.

No Cross Talk in Dial For Dollars!

Dial for Dollars entry must be paid for before the racer will be allowed to make a Dial for Dollars pass. No exceptions!

Once another Class has been pulled, late arrivers for previous class will be turned around. No exceptions! No Refunds!

Bye Runs

If the First Round has a Bye run, it will go to the winner of Dial for Dollars. If there is not a Bye run the first round, the winner of Dial for Dollars will get lane choice in first round. After the first round, the Bye will be determined by the best reaction time from the previous round. If there is a bye run, best reaction time gets the bye. If there is no Bye run, the best reaction time will get lane choice.

A driver can not win a second bye unless all "remaining" drivers in a class have recieved a bye.

Late Getting To The Lanes

When you are called to the lanes, please head that way. We are giving you plenty of time to get to the lanes. Once the Bye winner reachs the single yellow line by the tower. The class has concluded and late arrivers will be turned around. The Bye winner will be the last car or in the last set of cars. That marks the end of that field.

CompuLink timing system malfunctions

In the event of a timing system malfunction, the two drivers will be re-run. If a driver decides to not re-run, they lose the round.
